Music Ally - common sense for the digital age
The leading digital music business information and strategy company, Music Ally, has provided publications, consulting, research, training and events to the music and technology industries since 2001.

Music Ally's executives come from a genuine music business background. Co-founder Paul Brindley was bass player with the early nineties indie band The Sundays, who sold over 3 million albums worldwide. Managing director Steve Mayall has been involved in pioneering digital music services for 15 years and Juan Paz, head of research, manages Colombian award-nominees Superlitio.

Music Ally understands the relationships and the politics that drive the real-world activity within the music industry with support from a full complement of market data, consumer research, and forecasting and trend insight. The publishing division provides a daily news feed compiled each morning in the UK and a regular insight report publishing the latest analysis and insider information every two weeks. It is led by journalists with a wealth of experience, contacts and understanding of all aspects of the changing music business.

And as Music Ally is constantly monitoring the digital music scene, regularly refreshing its sources of information and mixing at every level of the music business, executives are able to anticipate trends before they occur. Music Ally has been quoted by every news source from the BBC to the Sydney Morning Herald, CNN and the Financial Times and works with every major player on the digital music scene from AOL to Yahoo. Brands such as Tesco, Orange, and the BBC rely on Music Ally for digital music consumer research, and Universal Music and the Association of Independent Music look to Music Ally for internal training. Key organizations such as the Guardian, British Music Rights and Deloitte have sponsored must-attend networking events and Music Ally designs the conference components for Popkomm – Germany, The Great Escape – England and now Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week.

In short, no one knows digital music like Music Ally.
