- Yarmouth to Host Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week 2010
For the second year in a row, Yarmouth will host Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week. Held this year from November 4-7, the festival and conference will showcases more than 60 performances, including one of the province’s biggest gala awards shows. The conference also attracts top industry professionals from around the world to lead educational workshops.

After four grueling battles, the best of the best have been selected for a final battle to perform an exclusive showcase at Canadian Music Week 2010 in Toronto.

Music Newfoundland & Labrador, Music Nova Scotia, Music New Brunswick and Music Prince Edward Island, in collaboration with the East Coast Music Association, are extremely proud to announce MIA Fest, a cooperative showcase stage featuring seven artists from each Atlantic Music Industry Association (MIA).

Music Nova Scotia is thrilled to announce the revival of the Open Mic stage - now at The Carleton Music Bar & Grill (1685 Argyle Street, Halifax) every Saturday afternoon 1-4 p.m., starting February 6. Songs and Stories Open Mic will be an opportunity for members and interested musicians to perform short acoustic sets on a Music Nova Scotia stage.

Lyman is also creating a Country tour based around the Warped model and has opened a full time office in Nashville to help facilitate and plan, the yet to be named tour, in 2010.
