Witchitaw hails from the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. They have become known as the hardest working country band on the East Coast. They have recorded three full length albums in Nashville and released 5 previous singles to Canadian Country Radio.

Witchitaw hails from the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia. They have become known as
the hardest working country band on the East Coast. They have recorded three full length
albums in Nashville and released 5 previous singles to Canadian Country Radio. Throughout the
Covid-19 pandemic stay at home order, Witchitaw began writing new songs for an upcoming 4 th
studio album. They work remotely with Hilltop Studio in Nashville and at the Sonic Temple in
Halifax, Nova Scotia. They are new set to release their new single, She’s My Whiskey, to
Canadian Country Radio.
The band released their 3 rd studio album, “The Ride” May 5 th , 2018. The album was
nominated for Country Recording of the Year at the 2018 Nova Scotia Music Awards. The first
single off their new album was actually released to Canadian Country Radio on February 1 st
2018 ahead of the full album release. 30 plus radio stations across the nation programmed
Witchitaw’s single “Posse”, including satellite giant, Sirius XM Canada.
Witchitaw released a follow up single called “Moonshine” July 1 st 2018 to correspond
with their performances at 2018 Cavendish Beach Music Festival in PEI. They also shot a video
exclusively in Cavendish for Moonshine which was released in August 2018. The video featured
clips from their performances on 4 different stages over 2 days, along with crowd interaction
shots and back stage footage.
In 2018 and 2019, Witchitaw released 5 singles of “The Ride” album to Canadian
Country Radio – (Posse, Moonshine, Give A Damn, When Opportunity Knocks, East Coast
Country Side Roads).
Over the past five years Witchitaw has performed numerous high profile events
throughout Atlantic Canada. Highlights include performing at the 2014 East Coast Music
Awards, 2014 / 2016 Nova Scotia Music Awards, 2015 Canadian Country Music Awards, 2019
Rogers Hometown Hockey National Broadcast and the Cavendish Beach Music Festival in Prince
Edward Island in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019.
The band has become widely known for their high energy, outlaw country driven show
that encourages audience participation along with fun post show meet and greets.
