Jon Hines is a Cape Breton based singer songwriter, with influences from life that surrounds him. Touching into his love for folk music and the blues. His lyrics and poetry tell stories, that are heart filled, deep and delivered with soulful voice. He is a self taught guitarist and singer, playing and writing since his early teenage days. From day one he found a love for writing and performing live. In 2008 Jon recorded his first CD titled "Gary the Bus Driver", with a few mini tours throughout the maritimes he was gaining a positive reputation as a songwriter and entertainer. After 2010, John had taken a brief Hi-Atus from performing and writing for a few years.
In 2016 Jon picked up the guitar and started writing again. The poetry and guitar that followed is truly breath taking, it will leave you wanting more while stomping your foot along with it. After creating a buzz with his new songs, Jon had the chance to open for international touring artist "Daniel Champagne" from Australia.
The best part about this musical journey is that its not over. "Wild Things Roam" is going to be Jons first full length album, and is scheduled for release in 2018. (Date TBA)

Jon Hines is touring the West Coast of Canada, arriving in Calgary in mid March and making his way to Vancouver and back!
