Music Nova Scotia is excited to share the artists who will be performing at Music Nova Scotia and Garrison Brewing’s next New Music Thursday show at The Seahorse Tavern on May 2

Music Nova Scotia is excited that early bird festival wristbands and delegate passes for Nova Scotia Music Week 2024 are on sale now!

Festival wristbands allow access to all showcasing events at NSMW 2024 (subject to capacity). Festival wristbands do not include access to the awards show, NSMW conference, or other premium access events. Limited early bird wristbands are available for sale here for $55 + fees until they are sold out. Standard ticket pricing will be available later in the summer.

Delegate passes gain access to all NSMW 2024 showcases (subject to capacity), conference sessions, mixers, and special events hosted by NSMW. Limited early bird delegate passes are for sale here for $100 + fees until they are sold out. Standard ticket pricing will be available later in the summer.

Music Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Music Week 2023 have been nominated for two Canadian Live Music Industry Awards Nominations!

Music Nova Scotia has received a nomination for the Community Impact Award, and Nova Scotia Music Week 2023, which took place November 2-5, 2023, has received a nomination for Small Festival of the Year.

Voting is now open for the Canadian Live Music Industry Awards! Members of the Canadian live music industry are eligible to vote. Industry workers/organizations can register and votes can be submitted at https://cmw.net/awards/live/vote until May 3, 2024.

Halifax indie pop-singer Psiren will be playing a special live show with a full band at Radstorm to celebrate the release of his new single, "Anhedonia", on Thursday, April 18th! Psiren will be joined by singer-songwriter and indie folk artist Sandon Gagnon, funk and R&B vibe factory "Crystal Stares" (co-fronted by the ANSMA-award winning Adina Fraser), and Halifax's favourite queercore funk-rockers, show headliners "Origami Workshop"!

Doors open at 6:30 PM, with music starting at 7:00. Admission is $10, or Pay-What-You-Can. Come early if you want to see everyone; Radstorm has been exploding in popularity in recent times thanks to their monthly All-Age Rager events, attracting large young crowds reminiscent of the glory days of The Pavilion. Masks and hearing protection are encouraged.
