Music Nova Scotia is excited that early bird festival wristbands and delegate passes for Nova Scotia Music Week 2024 are on sale now!

Festival wristbands allow access to all showcasing events at NSMW 2024 (subject to capacity). Festival wristbands do not include access to the awards show, NSMW conference, or other premium access events. Limited early bird wristbands are available for sale here for $55 + fees until they are sold out. Standard ticket pricing will be available later in the summer.

Delegate passes gain access to all NSMW 2024 showcases (subject to capacity), conference sessions, mixers, and special events hosted by NSMW. Limited early bird delegate passes are for sale here for $100 + fees until they are sold out. Standard ticket pricing will be available later in the summer.

Music Nova Scotia is excited to invite artists and performers of all genres from across Nova Scotia to apply to play at #NSMW2024!

Showcase applications to play at NSMW 2024 are open now until Thursday, April 11, at 11:59 pm AT, and the application fee is $25.

You must be a member of Music Nova Scotia in good standing to apply. If your membership is not up to date by the deadline to apply, your submission will not be considered eligible. To renew or create a new membership, click here.

Thanks to a generous bequest by the late Judith A Grant in 2023, the Talent Trust is pleased to announce that we will be awarding at least 15 bursaries, each valued at $5000, to deserving emerging artists studying music at colleges and universities in Atlantic Canada.

On Friday April 12, 2024, Jont launches "Old Traveller" a new album of original medicine songs at The Music Room, Halifax. Joined by a talented band assembled for the evening – including friend and collaborator Bob S. on the Steinway – Jont will sing songs from the album. Special guest Michael Adzich will open the night. In Jont-style there will be space for magical and spontaneous moments and for the community to connect and sing along. Doors 6:30 pm. Show 7:00 pm.
