A special Sunday evening Catahoula Brown performance!
Sunday, August 18, 2019 -
19:30 to 21:30

Catahoula Brown is the old blues spirit inside singer/songwriter Chris Robert Weagle. He was raised on a diet of true roots music from Hank Williams and Hank Snow to Son House and Sonny Boy Williamson. Catahoula Brown has a real feel for back road balladry and from-the-gut-soul.

Since 2004, he has recorded five studio albums and has been nominated four times by Music Nova Scotia, and once by the East Coast Music Association. He was recently signed by the Shelburne, Nova Scotia based recording label Maritimes Music, and will release a new album this summer.

His live show includes a main dish of mouth-watering songs, with a side order of dry spicy humour, and his own unique down home charm for dessert. He has shared the stage with some of the most respected musicians in North America, at some of the most prestigious festivals in Nova Scotia.
