Anti-Bullying and Mental Health Benefit Concert

Join us in making a difference at this special benefit concert for No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society being held on Wednesday, August 21st, 2019 at The Carleton in Halifax, at 7:00 pm - 10:00 pm!

This show is entry by donation. There will be raffle prizes and merchandise for sale.

100% of proceeds from this benefit concert will ensure that the No Time for That Anti-Bullying Society’s “No Time for That” Tour can continue to deliver powerful presentations about bullying prevention, mental health awareness and youth empowerment to schools free of charge. So far we have been to 600 schools across Canada including 71 schools in Nova Scotia.

LINE UP:

Elsie Morden - With over 500,000 streams on Spotify and a top 100 song at Canadian country radio, Halifax country/pop artist Elsie Morden is one to watch. The singer-songwriter’s energy, perseverance, and ability to connect with audiences separate her from the rest!

Good Dear Good - A romance between gritty and smooth. Down to earth with a beam of fluorescence. An accessible pop-rock sound with an alternative step further, rooted in the city of Halifax.

Cailen Pygott (No, It's Fine.) - Award-winning post-emo-pop-revival. Pretty much exactly the kind of music you would expect a Nova Scotian who visited Philadelphia once and then never stopped talking about it to make. (sad songs played loudly)

Cameron Nickerson - Sounding neither totally modern, nor like a retro throwback, Nickerson walks a unique musical path that’s strewn with bluegrass, rock and roll, teenage angst, and world-weary contemplation.

Brooklyn Blackmore - Brooklyn Blackmore is a singer/songwriter with an influence from country and pop genres who delivers captivating lyrics, dynamic vocals, and powerful melodies with a vintage feel.
