NSMW festival schedule now online

(September 12, 2017 Halifax, NS) Jenn Grant leads the way with seven Music Nova Scotia award nominations with Port Cities and Rose Cousins close behind with six. All received nominations in major categories such as Entertainer of the Year and Recording of the Year. The Music Nova Scotia awards will be presented on Sunday, November 5th at Nova Scotia Music Week (NSMW) in Truro, Nova Scotia.

All current members of Music Nova Scotia are eligible to vote for this year’s Music and Industry Awards. Voting will take place online through the Music Nova Scotia website. Voting is now open and will close on Friday, September 29th at 5:00 PM. Music Nova Scotia members will receive voting instructions via email. The public will also get the chance to vote for the Entertainer of the Year Award. Voting for Entertainer of the Year will open on Friday, October 6th and close on Friday, October 27th. The Music Nova Scotia Awards Celebration and Closing Party will take place on Sunday, November 5th at the Holiday Inn Truro. All awards will be presented at the celebration which will begin at 7:00 PM.

Wintersleep added to NSMW line up
Juno Award winners Wintersleep have been added to the 2017 NSMW festival line-up. They will perform on Thursday, November 2nd at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 26 - Truro. Individual tickets for this show will go on sale Friday, September 15th.

Showcasing Schedule Released
Nova Scotia Music Week features more than 100 acts over 4 days from across the province. The full schedule is now available by clicking HERE. The conference schedule will be released Tuesday, September 19th.

Tickets On Sale September 15th
Individual show tickets go on sale on September 15th. These tickets guarantee entry to individual shows. Wristbands and delegate passes are on sale now. To purchase tickets click HERE.
