Want to host Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week in your community?

(May 7, 2014 Halifax, NS) – Starting May 12, Music Nova Scotia will be accepting bids to host Molson Canadian Nova Scotia Music Week (NSMW) in 2015, 2016 and 2017. The annual event brings musicians, industry professionals, international delegates and music fans together for four days of live performances, educational workshops and awards.
NSMW went on the road to Liverpool in 2006 after being held in Halifax for ten years, and has since taken place in communities such as Pictou County and Yarmouth. The event has had its most successful year to date in 2013 in Sydney, where the festival and conference was held from November 7-10. This year the event will be held in Truro from November 6-9.
“NSMW is our signature event; it is about bringing communities of people together - our members, volunteers, businesses, media, artists, music fans and delegates from the international music industry - to promote the growth and development of music in Nova Scotia.” says Scott Long, Executive Director for Music Nova Scotia. “We look forward to reviewing the bids, and to begin planning for 2015, 2016, and 2017.”
