The Epiphonics

Rising out of Halifax, the Epiphonics are quickly becoming one of the city's hottest trio's. With devout respect to vintage soul,R&B,Blues and jazz,Chris Grant(guitars),Trevor Wentzell(oran,keys) and Chuck Bucket(drums)are entertaining audiences with an infectious funky repertoire. Nostalgia is in the air with this collaborative music writing engine lead by the song writing talents of Chris Grant. The special blend of the roaring Hammond B3 organ played by Trevor, along with Chris's earthy style Guitar playing and Chuck's tasteful and rhythmic command of the drums, take this traditional organ trio sound to a whole new level. The Epipiphonics have an exciting energetic groove that will be sure to have your toes taping in no time. A true spirit of improvisation and creative musical conversation can be heard throughout each performance while keeping the essence of the songs tight and grounded.
