Cassie and Maggie
Nova Scotian Celtic sister duo, Cassie and Maggie top the list of Canadian Folk Music award nominees with nominations in the ENSEMBLE of the year, VOCAL GROUP of the year, TRAD ALBUM of the Year, and TRAD SINGER of the Year (Maggie) categories for their newest release, "The Willow Collection". Cassie and Maggie will perform at the Gala awards ceremony to be held on Ottawa Nov 19th. The girls have also received nominations for ENTERTAINERS of the year, GROUP RECORDING of the year and ROOTS/TRAD album of the year at this years Music Nova Scotia Awards to be held Nov 5th in Truro, NS.

Jenn Grant
Jenn Grant’s voice and songwriting has been celebrated the world over by critics and industry alike. Described as one of the 'best singers in the world' by her ongoing collaborator, Buck 65 (CA), “captivating' by The Line Of Best Fit (UK), and “work of a painter born in paradise” by The Sydney Morning Herald (AU). 

Neon Dreams
Over the last couple of years, Halifax-based trio Neon Dreams have rapidly emerged as one of the brightest new stars on the Canadian music horizon. The success story they are writing has long and deep roots, however, for Frank Kadillac, Adrian Morris, and Matt Gats have been playing together in different configurations for the last nine years. The result is a tight-knit band with a strong personal and musical foundation, one destined to help Neon Dreams go a long way in the business.

Reeny Smith
Reeny Smith is a talented, 24 year-old emerging artist from North Preston, Nova Scotia and has been singing and playing the piano since the age of five. She credits her inspiration for music from time spent with family and friends at her local church, Saint Thomas Baptist, where she plays piano and is a member of three choirs.

Rose Cousins
A native of Prince Edward Island, Rose Cousins lives in Halifax Nova Scotia. She deeply values being part of multiple music communities, and is constantly fueled by collaboration. Cousins’ 2012 album We Have Made A Spark celebrated her Boston community and featured a cast of musicians Cousins had known and played music with for a decade. It won a JUNO Award, 3 East Coast Music Awards, a Canadian Folk Music Award, was nominated for the Polaris Music Prize, and made picks/best of lists in USA Today, NPR Music and Oprah Magazine.  Her music has found its way into several TV shows including Grey’s Anatomy.
