Jonny Stevens to Leave Halifax Pop Explosion - ED Job Posting Tomorrow

Halifax Pop Explosion has announced that Jonny Stevens will be transitioning out of his role as the festival’s Executive Director after accepting an opportunity outside of the music sector. He will adopt an advisory role with HPX’s board of directors at the end of February.

“Being a part of HPX has been the best time of my professional life,” says Stevens. “Thank you to the board of directors, staff, bands, fans, volunteers, and stakeholders who happen to be the most passionate people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. I look forward to continued involvement with HPX, and am excited to welcome a new Executive Director to our organization.”

The position of Executive Director will be posted on the Halifax Pop Explosion website on Wednesday, January 29th, 2014.

“We’d like to thank Jonny for his service and dedication to Halifax Pop Explosion,” says Kris McCann, Chair of the Board. “He has been a friend and an inspiration. Without his vision, Halifax Pop Explosion would not be what it is today. We wish him all the best in his future endeavours, and look forward to working with him as a key member of our team going forward.”
