Music Nova Scotia Hosts Queer Artist Affinity Space: Building Connections & Navigating the Music Industry
(July 4, 2024) Music Nova Scotia is pleased to be hosting an affinity space for queer artists at the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning on Friday, July 26 before the Dartmouth Festival Series presents Halifax Pride Closing Party with headliner Priyanka. Hosted by Art Ross (Pillow Fite) and Jade Bennett, they will lead round tables on challenges faced in the industry, strategies for navigating and advocating within the industry, showing up authentically, and more, while making friendship bracelets.
(July 9, 2024 – Halifax, NS) Music Nova Scotia is pleased to be hosting an affinity space for queer artists at the MacPhee Centre for Creative Learning on Friday, July 26 before the Dartmouth Festival Series presents Halifax Pride Closing Party with headliner Priyanka. Hosted by Art Ross (Pillow Fite) and Jade Bennett, they will lead round tables on challenges faced in the industry, strategies for navigating and advocating within the industry, showing up authentically, and more, while making friendship bracelets. The session will finish with networking over snacks and non-alcoholic beverages.
As a group, after the event, we will head to the Dartmouth Festival Series Stage to enjoy the show!

The stage is located at Ferry Terminal Park (88 Alderney Drive, Dartmouth) which is a 7 minute walk from the MacPhee Centre.
