Psiren (he/him) is a queer, independent singer, rapper, & producer who presents thoughtful, passionate, jazz-infused pop and hip-hop vocals over dreamy synths, smooth electric keys, grooving basslines, and funky, hard-hitting drum breaks. Imagine if Damon Albarn (Gorillaz), Mike Shinoda (Linkin Park), and Tame Impala produced a Michael Bublé record; that’s the sound of Psiren. His lyrics are emotionally honest, and open about sensitive personal and political topics, such as living with mental illness, queer experiences, class struggle, and personal identity in the digital age.
Since 2018, Psiren has released five EPs, eight original singles, and a cover of Mazzy Star’s “Into Dust.” Psiren has also appeared on “We’re in It Together” (Rich Aucoin), “Me 2 U” (Tuker Lucy), “The Bitter End” (Wash This Garden With Blood), and has produced two songs for the Buffy-nominated Caius Hubris– “Diamond Hands” and “Someday.”
“[Psiren's] set was unlike anything I've ever seen!”
– Terra Spencer
“Psiren crystalizes our thoughts perfectly on [his] new powerful 6-Song introspective album 'Hope'.”
– Atlantic Axess
