Taylor Theriault – born in 1990 in Truro, Nova Scotia. I grew a love for music at a very young age. I was brought up listening to bands/artists like The Beatles, The Guess Who, Jimi Hendrix, Stevie Ray Vaughan, etc. I also watched my father Ray Theriault, play guitar and sing ever since I can remember (This is where my passion for creating music begins).
Around the age of 11, I became introduced to Hip-Hop. Immediately I fell in love with the sound and knew this was my taste. Shortly after this time I began writing my own poetry as a way to express my thoughts and feelings.
At 15 years old, I was so consumed by the love of Rap music, that I decided to take my poems, and turn them into a rhythmical pattern in an attempt to mimic the Hip Hop songs that I was hearing at the time. Ever since writing my first song, I became addicted to the feeling of being able to express myself over an instrumental. Each time I wrote I thrived at getting better with each aspect of the craft.
I preformed for the first time live, in high school for about 50 people. Receiving the intense applaud from the crowd captivated me even more and further drove me to do more and be better.
I put out my first 16 track album A Rival in 2016, with the help of DJ Moves. I have since released a total of 4 albums, which are available on all streaming platforms and on my personal pages. I have performed at numerous shows and have put out a handful of music videos.
