Emily Stuart is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Halifax, Nova Scotia.
She has performed showcases at East Coast Music Week in 2016 and 2017, as well as Nova Scotia Music Week 2017 and 2024.
Emily has been performing over the last 15 years at various Halifax venues, including The Seahorse, The Carleton, and Casino Nova Scotia.
In 2015, Stuart released a 6-track EP, ‘Expression’, that gained a nomination for Pop Recording of the Year at the 2016 Nova Scotia Music Awards, and R&B/Soul Recording of the Year at the 2017 East Coast Music Awards.
Rebranding as ’emstuu’ and joining forces with Multi-Platinum selling, 4x ECMA Producer of the Year, Corey LeRue, she recorded her upcoming Pop EP “Self-Esteem & Dopamine”, releasing her chart topping debut single, “Force (To Be Reckoned With)” in September 2024.
Emily considers herself first and foremost a songwriter, and has co-written with Canadian artists such as Ria Mae, NIIVA, Erin Costelo, and Corey LeRue.
