(February 25, 2025 – Halifax/Kjipuktuk) Music Nova Scotia is pleased to announce “Stage Ready: Local Style, Global Impact,” an event to foster collaboration and artistic expression between local fashion designers and musicians for International Women’s Day. This event is made possible by FACTOR, the government of Canada, and Canada’s private radio broadcasters

Taking place on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, from 11am – 3pm at The Sanctuary Arts Centre (100 Ochterloney Street, Dartmouth/Punamu’kwati’jk), the event will feature the following sessions:

11:00AM – 11:45AM: Fashion & Performance—Crafting Your Stage Identity

Hosted by Nicole Ariana with Maggie Jayne (Daytime People), Funmilayo Odeniyi (MichNat), Amie Cunningham (Thief and Bandit) and Jennifer Glass (JenIm), this panel discussion will cover:

  • Ethical and sustainable fashion choices for musicians

12:00PM – 1:30PM: Curated Styling Sessions with Local Designers

1:00PM – 3:00PM: Build Your Personal Brand Vision Board
