Winter Swamp Music! The sound of groovy vibes on damp winter evenings, to the steady beat of the early sunsets that lead to long blues filled nights! Lookout Tower is an original band from Cape Breton Island.

Lookout Tower was formed in the fall of 2021 in Big Baddeck, Nova Scotia. The group is composed of Rankin MacEachern, Bryan Picard, Bradley Murphy, Franzi Habith and John Pinnington. They play Winter Swamp Style! A groovy mix of bluesy rockers, soulful ballads and blizzard funks. Their debut album ‘Smoke Over Sound’ which was recorded in a repurposed 167 year-old church in Baddeck Forks, drops June 4th.
