Acadian. Punk. Rock. From Baie Sainte-Marie, Nova Scotia, founded by some of the region's most accomplished musicians, Peanut Butter Sunday pays homage to bands like Thursday, Blink-182 and Green Day while showcasing their distinctive Acadian spunk.

Le punk revit de manière éclatante avec Peanut Butter Sunday, groupe acadien formé des musiciens les plus accomplis de la la Baie Sainte-Marie en Nouvelle-Écosse – Normand Pothier (P’tit Belliveau, Cy), Michael Saulnier (solo, Young Corleone), Jacques Blinn (P’tit Belliveau, Cy) et Andre LeBlanc. Dans un sillon s’inspirant de plusieurs groupes clés du punk, du emo et du post-hardcore (Thursday, Blink 182, Saves The Day), le quatuor décuple l’efficacité de ses phrasés mélodiques à grands renforts de riffs accrocheurs.

 

Leur premier album, Quoi-ce y’a pour souper? agit comme un introduction officiel à Peanut Butter Sunday. “Vraiment un uplifting hello,” le EP de 4 chansons est enveloppé dans une attitude punk hargneuse et une conscience de soi sans vergogne tout en maintenant un courant distinct d’humour et de fun.
