ReJOYce is husband and wife Joyce Saunders and Glenn Fraser of Halifax. As a duo or with musical friends (namely, picker extraordinaire Nick Bishop and ECMA nominee/multi-instrumentalist Mark Amadeus Flowerdew), they perform thought-provoking originals and catchy covers that spark participation. Thanks to their diverse individual musical backgrounds, skills and endeavours, ReJOYce weaves through folk, pop, traditional, spiritual/gospel, soul, bluegrass, flamenco, children’s music, and Afro-Cuban territory. Vocal harmonies, instrument versatility (ukulele, guitar, piano, accordion, cajón, djembe), groovy rhythms, an eclectic repertoire, and above all, the infectious joy of making music together, define ReJOYce. They are a delightful main event for intimate venues, all-age events, and festivals. They can also enliven any private function.
