For over 40 years, we’ve brought incredible live classical music to Nova Scotia audiences. From our namesake yearly festival to our fall-winter concert series, Scotia Festival offers something for everyone.

Our primary event since 1980, Scotia Festival of Music is an annual two-week chamber music festival held in Halifax during late spring. Boasting over fifty public events, it features international talent of the highest caliber, offering concerts, recitals, open rehearsals, masterclasses, coaching sessions, and more.

When the festival is over, the music doesn’t stop: our Music Room Chamber Players Series runs from September to April each year, offering 20 fantastic and diverse classical music concerts, held at our beautiful venue: The Peggy Corkum Music Room.
