The Stan Rogers Folk Festival, or ‘Stanfest’ as it is affectionately known, is Northeastern Nova Scotia’s premiere festival experience. Born in the shadow of a collapsing industry, Stanfest has risen to become a destination event for thousands and an economic driver for the region. In its almost 30 years the festival has presented some of the biggest names in songwriting and does so in the spirit of its namesake, the late Stan Rogers. Join us each year during the last full weekend in July and watch a small seaside village come alive!
