We are a 5 piece band called Touched, based in Halifax, NS.
We collaborate to express our ideas by combining poetry, melody, and rhythm, always
seeking simplicity and newness. We find beauty in the endless potential of working
together and would like to share our unique sound. In the past 2 years we have put out
a couple EP’s and a few singles, starting out pretty low-fi and learning a lot along the
way about recording and producing all of our own music. We have also started playing
shows now that pandemic restrictions have let up.
We have completed our first full length album It is called “In Touch” and an EP “Whatever” Out via Human Sounds Records.
We are also working on our second full length album which now has two singles out “Cool Mood City” and “Cherry” .
This one is a little more polished–like I mentioned earlier, we have been learning so much
since we started! And we just can’t stop. We also have a couple more EP’s planned out
to start recording once we are finished with this second full length album.
We are all songwriters and multi-instrumentalists. Working creatively together is our way
of celebrating our love of music and friendship.
