Music Nova Scotia is holding the annual election for its board of directors! There are nine (9) incumbents re-offering, and one (1) open seat, with ten (10) total seats to fill.

Music Nova Scotia members are encouraged to nominate anyone who, in their opinion, would be a good candidate for the Music Nova Scotia board of directors. We also invite anyone interested in being nominated to declare their interest by submitting a completed nomination form – full nomination details and the nomination form are available here.

What does the MNS Board of Directors do?
The MNS Board of Directors represents Music Nova Scotia by providing general oversight to Music Nova Scotia’s operations, to ensure we serve our membership in ways that are most useful to you. Joining the Board is a great way to help make your voice and lived experience as a Nova Scotian artist or industry member heard! 

Nominations open May 4, 2023 and close May 18, 2023 at 11:59 PM AST.  

In each case, contact will be made with each nominee to ensure permission of the nominee and to complete the nomination process.
